The RH10 postcode district is part of the larger RH or Redhill postcode region which has twenty postcode districts and eight post towns in total. The main sorting office of the RH postcode region is Crawley and this wide area also takes part of Surrey as well as that of East and West Sussex.
RH10 specifically deals with the eastern half of Crawley and the surrounding area. It is the postcode for places such as Copthorne, Northgate, Southgate and Three Bridges. Copthorne in fact lies on it's northern border whilst it goes as far east to Kingscote and Crawley town centre to the west. To the south it goes down to Cowdray Forest and Green Wood.
Whereas it's eastern border cuts down the centre of Crawley town, RH10 is divided in two by the M23 motorway which lies to the east of Crawley. Other notable roads include the A2220 and the A2004. Three Bridges railway station lies in this district as well as Crawley station. Both are on the London to Brighton line. Three Bridges station in fact is also a significant junction for the London to Portsmouth line.
As you would expect with RH10 taking in part of Crawley town centre, it covers many busy streets and shopping areas. County Mall Shopping Centre is just one notable example of this. As you move east however, the postcode district becomes more rural, taking in many woods and forests such as the impressive Worthlodge Forest. Tilgate, Maidenbower, Rowfant, Pound Hill, Furnace Green and Crawley Down are other areas which have RH10 as their postcode district.
One other thing to prepare for on your big removal day is finding a parking space for your removal van. When moving to RH10, you can reserve a space by contacting Crawley District Council here or Mid Sussex Council here.
Reserving a parking space is just one example of preparation we can advise you with. Why not find out what else we can do by phoning us on 020 8811 8918 today.
